Since 99 the demolishing of the old freight train station gives way to the the development of the "Europe-quarter" - a new part of the city conceived by architect Albert Speer.
Funny enough when dad planned "Germania" in the 40's one should proceed to its center with the "Ruhmeshalle" (hall of fame) via "Siegesboulevard" (Victory boulevard). Now "Europe Boulevard" connects the quarter's focus, the "Urban Entertainment Center" to the Autobahn. (The SELEKTION office hidden behind the block at the right corner)
